STEP3: Select ONLY Signature Edition Macarons / Design Macarons / Character Macarons from the menu.

*NOTE: Monster Macaron and Fruit Macaron cannot be sent due to the melting fruit and double cream filling.

How do we pack? (Triple protection package)

We produce sturdy security packages that are sent to the DMV area via UPS Ground Shipping. The interior container is an attractive black color ETC-32 grade 9x6x2 inch corrugated gift box that preserves the previously individually wrapped macarons for initial protection.

For added protection and temperature stability, this interior container will be covered with insulated bubble wrapping wrap. To keep the macarons cool and fresh, we also utilized a no sweat gel cold pack. Furthermore, we wrap second protection for the internal package with sealed air bubble wrap. Finally, to complete the package, the interior product with double wrap will be packed in a 10x10x6 solid corrugated shipping box.

Although no sweat gel ice pack keeps the macarons cool throughout shipping, however it may have melted by the time you receive your package. Please keep in mind that melting no sweat gel ice packs are perfectly fine and do not imply a loss of freshness!

Shipping / Ordering Policy

*NOTE: Suspension of UPS Service Guarantee:

Effective 5 April 2021 the UPS Service Guarantee will be reinstated only for UPS Worldwide Express services (UPS Worldwide Express Plus®, UPS Worldwide Express®, UPS Worldwide Express Saver®, UPS Worldwide Saver, UPS Worldwide Express Freight® Midday and UPS Worldwide Express Freight®).

  • Our shipping partners are UPS.

  • The flat rate delivery and packaging fee for all orders up to 36 macarons is $13.99.

  • ONLY DMV (District of Columbia/Maryland/Virginia) AREA orders are shipped by Joy Macaron (MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY). This eliminates the possibility of weekend overlaps. On Thursdays, Fridays, weekends, and holidays, we do not ship.

  • Depending on the origin and destination, UPS ground shipping can take 1 to 5 days to deliver. (The majority of the DMV area typically takes between 24-48 hours to deliver.)

  • Orders placed after 2:00 p.m. EST on the Requested Shipment Day will be dispatched the next day (MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY).

  • Saturday/Sunday deliveries are NOT available.

  • We are unable to cancel your order once a UPS tracking number has been generated.

  • Joy Macaron disclaims responsibility for delivery times that are delayed by incomplete or inaccurate addresses, shipping carrier delays, or both.

  • Once they leave our premises, packages are no longer the responsibility of Joy Macaron.

  • UPS will charge extra for reshipping and/or relabeling packages that are returned or need to be rerouted as a result of inaccurate addresses.

  • If the recipient is NOT there to accept the package when it is delivered or if the business is closed, shipping fees will NOT be reimbursed for late deliveries.

  • At the discretion of the driver, UPS may request a signature for delivery.

  • Unexpected weather delays, which may affect shipment and arrival dates, are not factored into estimated delivery timescales.

  • We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes at this time. We sincerely regret for any inconvenience.

  • Certain zip codes require 2nd Day Air® or Next Day Air® shipment where ground shipping is NOT available to ensure the freshness of our macarons upon arrival.

  • Joy Macaron retains the right to change the courier and delivery method at any time.

  • For return or refunds, Joy Macaron does NOT accept return/refunds due to the perishable nature of our products.

  • For CANCELLATION/MODIFICATIONS, it is NOT possible to cancel an order within two working days of the ship or pickup date. Please call us right away at (703) 850-8403 if you need to cancel or modify an order. Although we will try to meet your needs, there may not be enough time to satisfy all of them. On a case-by-case basis, accommodations will be provided.
